Investment Strategies

  • The sub-advisor, Galibier Capital Management Ltd. (“Galibier”), follows a valuation driven, bottom up investment process. Galibier seeks underpriced securities by using fundamental research to determine a security’s underlying intrinsic value. Securities offering a discounted market price to intrinsic value are considered for the portfolio.
  • For the fixed income portion of the Fund, J. Zechner Associates Inc. (“Zechner”) uses investment strategies analyzing the expected direction of interest rates, the relative value between various terms to maturity, the relative value of individual issues and the relative value of different bond market sectors.
  • The Fund’s investments in equity and fixed income securities are actively managed and each will range between 25% and 75% of the Fund’s assets, depending on Galibier’s assessment of economic and market factors.
  • The Fund may invest up to 50% of the cost of its net assets in foreign securities.
