Abe Goenka, (CEO, CFO and COO)

Abe Goenka is Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Global Asset Management Canada. Abe joined the firm in 2007, has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2010, and has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. In addition to his responsibilities as CEO, Abe is responsible for operations and financial reporting at Natixis Canada, as well as managing the firm’s unique mutual fund tax structure.

He previously worked at CIBC World Markets in the Trading Room Controllers Group analyzing derivative and structured product transactions. Abe has also spent a number of years in the Assurance and Advisory Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP focused on financial services clients. He holds Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations. Abe earned a Masters of Accounting and Honours Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.

James N. Roach (Executive Vice President, Sales)

Jim Roach is Executive Vice President and Head of Sales. He has almost 14 years of experience in the asset management industry, the majority of which has been spent in sales leadership roles. Prior to joining Natixis Global Asset Management Canada, Jim was Senior Vice President, Sales Desk Manager at the Natixis Global Asset Management’s headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. As an experienced sales leader, Jim manages the Canadian sales team and ensures that our clients have access to the best service, support and investment solutions possible. Jim is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and holds an Accounting degree.

Angela Nikolakakos (Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary & General Counsel)
B.Comm, LL.B, LL.M

Angela Nikolakakos is Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of Natixis Global Asset Management Canada. Prior to her current position, she held various roles at BMO Financial Group. Her most recent position was that of Senior Counsel & Director in the Wealth Management Group of BMO Financial Group providing legal advice to BMO Financial Group’s mutual funds, exchange traded funds, pooled funds and fund managers on a wide range of corporate, securities and regulatory issues. Prior to that, she was a partner in the Toronto Corporate and Securities Group of Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP for several years. 

Angela obtained her LLB from the University of Windsor and her LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School.  She has successfully passed the Canadian Securities Course, has received a certificate in Regulatory Compliance and
Legal Risk Management for Financial Institutions offered by Osgoode Hall Law School and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto where she majored in finance and economics.
